Composite veneers
Is a system of compound resins, photopolymerizable in one sole session and directly in the clinic, not requiring a laboratory phase.
Advantages:
- Fast, safe and effective treatment.
- We change the colour, size and position in one sole appointment.
- Reversible treatment.
- Does not require the laboratory, and therefore less costly.
- More conservative treatment, minimal or non-existent preparation.
- Impressions are not required.
Disadvantages:
- Less resistant than enamel.
- Vulnerable to degradation and change of colour.
- Porosities and irregularities.
- Little capacity to hide the dark surface of the prepared tooth.
- They require polishing every so often.
